Confirming its role as a core incubator and strategic partner in driving economic development, the Hama Chamber of Industry hosted a specialized workshop. The event was held in cooperation with the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority of the Ministry of Economy and Industry, under the title: "Small and Medium Enterprises: Definitive Guide, Support Priorities, and Local Partnership Opportunities."The workshop brought together vital discussions, featuring Dr. Mohammad Al-Khaled, Vice Chairman of the Chamber's Board of Directors. The Authority's delegation was led by Mr. Mustafa Hilal, Deputy Head of the Authority, along with Mr. Ghiath Raqia, Director of the Hama Branch, Mr. Alaa Al-Zeir, Director of the Entrepreneurship Directorate, and Mr. Ahmed Aswad, Director of the Business Incubators Directorate. Representatives from private banks, as well as local and international institutions concerned with business sector empowerment, also participated.Workshop Pillars and OutcomesThe Chamber's Vision for Business Sector Activation: Dr. Mohammad Al-Khaled reviewed entrepreneurship mechanisms in the governorate through a realistic market and needs analysis. He also outlined a collaborative plan to enhance cooperation with the Authority, offering the Chamber's logistical capabilities and training center services to serve as a business incubator providing practical training within industrial facilities to qualify beneficiaries for the labor market.Institutionalizing the Sector and Setting Priorities: Attendees discussed the operational importance of the definitive guide for small and medium enterprises and its pivotal role in drafting targeted support programs.
