The Leather and Footwear Industry Committee held its regular meeting today at the headquarters of the Chamber of Industry, in the presence of Mr. Rifaat Al-Ammo, a board member of the Chamber of Industry.The demands of the committee members focused on the importance of providing appropriate protection measures for the national product of this industry, as it contributes to employing a large number of workforces. They called for supporting the export process and reducing customs duties on the import of raw materials, while reconsidering the customs duties on ready-made and sports shoes in a way that supports the national industry
