Under the theme "Modern Automation Solutions in the Era of Artificial Intelligence," the activities of the First Syrian-Lebanese Cooperation and Investment Forum kicked off at the "Seven Gates" Hotel in Damascus. Organized by the Syrian Computer Society and the Professional Informatics Association in Lebanon, the event witnessed the participation of the Damascus Countryside Chamber of Industry, represented by its President, Engineer Mohammad Ayman Al-Mawlawi, and Engineer Wafaa Abou Labdeh, Board Member and Head of the Industrial Businesswomen Committee. The forum brought together a wide range of technology experts, decision-makers from ministries involved in digital transformation, as well as banking, educational, and insurance institutions.The forum aims to expand professional and commercial networks between Syria and Lebanon, showcase the latest advanced technical solutions that meet the needs of both public and private sectors, and create real investment opportunities while forging targeted bilateral partnerships with decision-makers.In conclusion, the participants stressed the importance of enhancing strategic cooperation and exchanging expertise to build an integrated Arab digital ecosystem. They emphasized that this edition represents a primary step within an ongoing path that will include future editions aimed at developing the information and communications technology (ICT) sector between the two countries.Additionally, Mr. Camille Moukarzel, President of the Lebanese Professional Informatics Association, presented a commemorative shield to Dr. Sinan Hatahet, President of the Syrian Computer Society, in recognition of his efforts and support in making the forum a success
