The Federation of Syrian Chambers of Industry Approves the Formation of Exhibition and Businesswomen Committees to Boost Exports
In the framework of developing and empowering industrial work, and finding methods to enhance the marketing and export of Syrian national products, Dr. Mazen Deirwan, Chairman of the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Industry, chaired the regular meeting of the Federation’s Bureau. The meeting was attended by the Bureau members:
Eng. Nasouh Baroudi (Vice Chairman), Asaad Kajoun (Vice Chairman), Eng. Mohammad Ayman Al-Moulawi (Secretary-General of the Federation), Hassan Daaboul (Treasurer of the Federation), Eng. Osama Al-Omar, Iyad Beitinjaneh, Aisha Jbeili, and Dr. Ibrahim Mously Al-Kurdi (Bureau Members), along with Khaldoun Dado (Director of the Federation).
The discussions focused on approving the formation of an Exhibition Committee for the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Industry. This committee will include members from the exhibition committees of local chambers of industry, with the aim of organizing prominent and specialized exhibitions for all Syrian industries both inside and outside the country to increase Syrian exports worldwide.
Furthermore, the formation of the Industrial Businesswomen Committee in the Federation was approved. It will consist of representatives from various Syrian chambers of industry to further activate the activities and contributions of industrial businesswomen across all Syrian governorates.
Deliberations were also held regarding mechanisms to increase engagement with the members of the general assemblies of the chambers, and to provide more services that offer specific privileges and benefits to industrialists in Syria.
Finally, the items on the session's agenda were discussed, and the necessary resolutions regarding them were passed
