Today, the training course organized by the Roya Association in cooperation with the Daraa Chamber of Commerce and Industry, titled "The Effective Leader," commenced in the training hall at the Chamber's headquarters in Daraa.The first day witnessed the presentation of several important and rich pillars, covering the definition of leadership concepts and the fundamental pillars of distinguished leadership thought to shape future leaders. The trainer, Mr. Mohammad Ali Ayyash, focused on anchoring the concept of leadership by exploring its comprehensive dimensions and its impact on guiding groups and achieving visions. He also addressed the philosophy of preparing leaders, emphasizing it as a sustainable, systematic process aimed at empowering individuals and developing their capabilities to manage challenges effectively and efficiently. Additionally, the innovation enhancement system played a significant role, illustrating the leader's role in creating an environment that stimulates creative ideas and unconventional solutions.The core traits of an effective leader were thoroughly outlined, shedding light on a bundle of skills that form the identity of successful leadership. Most notable among these were strategic vision, communication intelligence, and emotional intelligence—which entails understanding oneself and managing human relationships with awareness and maturity. This is in addition to governance and decision-making by possessing the courage and methodology to choose the best alternatives, and balanced speech, which requires mastering public speaking and delivering a sober, persuasive discourse that inspires others.The first day's activities were accompanied by interactive exercises and educational tools, including an interactive workshop where participants discussed "the importance of preparing leaders" as an institutional and societal necessity, along with the inclusion of purposeful visual materials that reinforced theoretical concepts and linked them to practical reality.The first day concluded by drawing a roadmap for the essential nurturing environments that integrate to build a leadership personality. These are represented by the home, which is the primary nucleus for planting confidence and taking responsibility; the school, considered the cognitive arena for developing social skills and self-reliance; society, as the embracing environment for developing public awareness and positive citizenship; and leader preparation centers and institutions, acting as a professional umbrella for refinement, guidance, and systematic empowerment
