As part of the steps to strengthen the Syrian industrial presence in regional markets, the Damascus Chamber of Industry and its Countryside signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Syrian-Kuwaiti Business Council. This agreement aims to support commercial and industrial cooperation between the two countries and open new horizons for Syrian industries.During the meeting, the Business Council expressed great interest in visiting the SYRIX Jeddah – Syrian Industries Exhibition. A delegation comprising businessmen and traders from Kuwait, as well as Syrian expatriates residing there, will attend to explore Syrian industries and discuss cooperation, import, and investment opportunities.Furthermore, a proposal was discussed to make the SYRIX Jeddah exhibition a primary step toward launching a specialized Syrian trade fair in the State of Kuwait in the near future.Location: Jeddah – Kingdom of Saudi ArabiaDate: August 17 – 20, 2026
