Following up on the activity organized by the International Training Centre of the International Labour Organization (ITCILO) titled "Global Social Partners Academy", the Syrian Federation of Chambers of Industry, represented by Board Member and Secretary of the Aleppo Chamber of Industry, Eng. Ahmed Mahdi Al-Khader, participated in the in-person training of this activity. The training took place at the ITCILO headquarters in Turin, Italy, with the attendance of representatives from 56 countries around the world.The training activities focused on the following topics:Digital transformation and governance.Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its impacts on industrial societies.Mechanisms for leveraging AI in social dialogue for employers' organizations and trade unions, and methods to maximize the benefits of using AI.In-depth details on building strategic plans to correctly implement digital transformation.Additionally, a field visit was made to the Innovation and Technology Center at the Politecnico University to explore the latest global digital developments.This participation comes as part of the Federation's ongoing activities aimed at accelerating the entry of organizations and companies into the realm of digital transformation and artificial intelligence. This serves to acquire best practices alongside international counterparts, optimize the use of AI technologies to boost productivity, foster innovation, and keep pace with the rapidly accelerating global strides in this field
