Within the framework of continuous efforts to develop institutional performance and support vital industrial sectors, the specialized training program titled "Training Towards a High-Performance Chamber of Industry," provided by the International Labour Organization (ILO), was successfully concluded.The program spanned over three days (from July 21 to 23, 2026), with broad and official participation that included delegations and representatives from the Chambers of Industry of Damascus and its Countryside, Aleppo, Homs, and Hama, alongside a distinguished team from the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Industry.The event witnessed a prominent attendance, notably Mr. Mazen Deerawan, President of the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Industry, Mr. Ayman Mawlawi, President of the Chamber of Industry of Damascus and its Countryside, and the Director of the Damascus Chamber of Industry, along with members of the Businesswomen Committee.The sessions, conducted by the ILO expert, Mr. José, witnessed great interaction regarding best international practices to advance the spinning, weaving, and garment sector, as well as enhancing the efficiency of the industrial chambers' roles.Deep thanks and appreciation are extended to the International Labour Organization (ILO) for providing and securing all logistical arrangements to ensure the success of this training, and to all participants for their tireless efforts in raising the efficiency of the national industry
