Dr. Mazen Deerwan, President of the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Industry, received Mr. Samir Sabounji, a member of the Syrian-American Business Council, at the Federation's headquarters.During the meeting, the Federation's role, operations, and ongoing collaboration with the Syrian Chambers of Industry to serve and support national industries were highlighted, emphasizing the importance of collective cooperation to achieve success and excellence.Discussions focused primarily on mechanisms to encourage and facilitate the export of Syrian products to US markets. This includes analyzing commodities imported by the United States from countries neighboring Syria (such as Jordan, Turkey, Egypt, and Africa). Consequently, a request was made to provide lists of the key exported goods as well as lists of importers in the US. These lists will be utilized to coordinate potential exchange visits for business delegations between the two countries to strengthen the export of Syrian products to America.The two sides also explored opportunities to build partnerships and investments in Syria, particularly in labor-intensive industries such as textiles, furniture, and other sectors
