Within the framework of joint efforts to develop the curricula and outcomes of dual education—in a way that positively impacts students and their academic and professional future—a meeting was held today at the Chamber of Industry headquarters.The meeting brought together Mr. Ismail Haj Hamad, Vice President of the Chamber of Industry; Eng. Ahmed Mahdi Al-Khader, Secretary of the Chamber of Industry; Alaa El-Din Boushi, Assistant Director of Education for Vocational Training; the Director of the AVSI Foundation office in Syria; alongside several industrialists and specialists from the Directorate of Education and the organization.During the meeting, the attendees discussed practical steps to identify a new specialization to be integrated into the dual education program, alongside current fields which include the garment industry and mechanical manufacturing.The discussion also addressed the specific roles required from each party to ensure the success of the dual education process. Furthermore, the attendees brainstormed several constructive ideas aimed entirely at elevating technical and vocational education, thereby helping students acquire practical skills that match the actual needs of the labor market
