Saudi Arabia Grants Temporary Exception for Operational Age of Transit Trucks Until September 2026
Based on the Ministry of Economy and Foreign Trade letter No. 2729/S15000100 dated April 21, 2026, the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Industry announces a decision by the Ministry of Transport in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The decision grants a temporary exception allowing all types of trucks transiting through Saudi territory to exceed the standard operational age until September 25, 2026, provided that the truck's age does not exceed 22 years from the date of manufacture.
