Eng. Ahmed Mehdi Al-Khader, Secretary of the Aleppo Chamber of Industry, representing the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Industry, participated in the specialized meeting and training visit on Governance and Artificial Intelligence held in Turin, Italy.Eng. Ahmed Mehdi Al-Khader stated that this event was of great importance, featuring participants from 56 countries. It is considered one of the most significant dialogue forums on the use of artificial intelligence in industrial and commercial societies. He pointed out that the main focus areas were: digital transformation and its importance in labor societies, syndicates, and industrial and commercial chambers; as well as the significance, features, and risks of artificial intelligence and its applications in industrial communities.He also noted that an important and specialized meeting was held with Mr. Oliver Röpke, Director of the Bureau for Workers' Activities at the International Labour Organization (ILO–ACTRAV) the office responsible for cooperation with syndicates and workers' organizations alongside the Director of the Bureau for Employers' Activities at the International Labour Organization (ILO).Furthermore, a visit was organized to the Innovation and Technology Center in Turin to explore its departments and mandates, and to engage in discussions with its directors on several key topics related to the center's operations
