The Damascus Countryside Chamber of Industry, represented by Eng. Wafaa Abu Labdeh, participated in the opening ceremony of the 6th edition of the International Exhibition for Cosmetic Industries and Perfumes, "Beauty World 2026." Held under the auspices of the Ministry of Economy and Industry, the opening was attended by Dr. Mazen Al-Dirawan, Chairman of the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Industry, alongside representatives from the Ministry of Economy, the General Establishment for International Fairs and Markets, and a number of interested professionals and visitors.Eng. Wafaa Abu Labdeh, Board Member of the Damascus Countryside Chamber of Industry, Head of the Businesswomen Committee, and Head of the Chemical Sector, pointed out that the participating Syrian companies offer high-quality products capable of competing globally. She noted that the exhibition serves as an important platform to showcase the capabilities of the Syrian industry to visitors and companies from both inside and outside Syria.Abu Labdeh explained that the wide Arab and regional participation reflects a growing interest in the Syrian market. She pointed out that the involvement of more than 150 companies from multiple countries adds genuine value to the local market, particularly in the field of production supplies. This contributes to diversifying the choices available to manufacturers, elevating the quality of Syrian products, and enhancing their capacity to compete with international products.The senior guests of the exhibition toured the participating pavilions, which include an estimated 195 local, Arab, and foreign companies specialized in the field of cosmetics and their supplies. This included the participation of the Damascus Countryside Chamber of Industry through a dedicated pavilion, serving as an introductory window for its services, answering inquiries, and providing information to the participating industrialists and exhibition visitors
