Opening of Syria International Food and Packaging Exhibition "Foodex" in Aleppo
Mr. Fawaz Hilal, Deputy Governor of Aleppo, and Mr. Imad Taha Al-Qasim, President of the Aleppo Chamber of Industry, inaugurated this evening the Syria International Food and Packaging Exhibition "Foodex," held at the Sports City in Al-Hamdaniya. The opening was attended by Mr. Mahmoud Maarawi, Director of Aleppo Industry, along with several board members of the Chamber of Industry and various economic and official figures.
The attendees toured the exhibition’s pavilions and sections, reviewing the displays that spanned various types of food industries, production requirements, machinery, and packaging lines. They engaged in discussions with the participants regarding the current state of production and marketing, emphasizing the vital role of domestic and international exhibitions as platforms for promoting and introducing national products.
Around 70 specialized companies in the food industries and supply sectors are participating in the exhibition. The event will run until next Saturday, welcoming visitors daily from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM
