New Saudi Decision: Extending the Operational Age for Foreign Trucks Crossing Saudi Territory until 2026
Subject: Circular to Respected Industrialists Regarding Truck Entry into Saudi Arabia
The Damascus Chamber of Industry and its Countryside presents its best regards and wishes to inform you of the decision issued by the Ministry of Transport in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia regarding the entry of foreign trucks into Saudi territories.
Decision Details:
Due to requests from several countries regarding trucks exceeding the approved operational age, a temporary measure has been decided as follows:

Permission is granted for all types of foreign trucks (whether destined for Saudi Arabia or transiting through) to enter Saudi territory even if they exceed the previously approved operational age.

Key Condition: The operational age of the truck must not exceed 22 years from the year of manufacture.

Validity: This temporary measure is effective until September 25, 2026.
