The Syrian Ministry of Economy and Trade has urged companies and factories wishing to export to the Iraqi market to expedite the completion of registration procedures via the ECOR platform. This platform was adopted by the Iraqi Ministry of Trade through the State Company for Iraqi Fairs and Commercial Services to regulate import operations, register companies and factories supplying Iraq, and issue approved registration certificates.Under the new mechanism, registering via the platform and obtaining a registration certificate has become an essential prerequisite for approving any supply or export operation to the Iraqi market. This measure ensures the regulation of commercial procedures and the documentation of suppliers' data.The Ministry emphasized the importance of taking the initiative to register as soon as possible to ensure the continuity of export operations to Iraq. This will help avoid any obstacles that might affect the access of products to the Iraqi market, which is considered one of the most prominent regional markets for Syrian products.Companies and factories can complete the registration procedures through the electronic registration portal
