The Minister of Economy and Industry, Dr. Nidal Al-Shaar, discussed ways to support the national industry, overcome challenges facing industrialists, and open new markets for Syrian products with a delegation from the Damascus and its Countryside Chamber of Industry, headed by Mr. Mohammed Ayman Mawlawi, along with several board members, during an expanded meeting at the ministry's headquarters in Damascus.The meeting touched upon enhancing cooperation between the public and private sectors and supporting local production, which would boost the competitiveness of the Syrian industry and strengthen the presence of national products in both local and international markets.Both sides emphasized the importance of continuous coordination to address the challenges confronting the industrial sector and to create the necessary conditions for its development.The meeting was attended by: Mr. Ghassan Al-Kasm (Vice President of the Chamber), Mr. Abdullah Al-Zayed (Secretary of the Chamber), Mr. Adham Al-Tabbaa (Treasurer of the Chamber), Mr. Raif Al-Sibaie and Mr. Karim Al-Khawaja (Chamber Board Members), and Mr. Anas Traboulsi (Head of the Exhibitions Committee)
