Little Experts in the Presence of the Damascene Rose: When Children’s Fingertips Craft a Fragrance for the Future
On a day filled with the scent of creativity, the hallways of the Modern Syrian School were transformed into small laboratories infused with the magic of jasmine and roses. "The Makers of Tomorrow" gathered for an exceptional workshop titled "Discover the World of Perfumes." This beautiful initiative was organized by the TSB Innovation Center, in cooperation with the Damascus Chamber of Industry and its Countryside, and experts from the Damascene Moment Company (Spinati).
With their small fingers and under the supervision of pharmacist Omar Zabibi, the children lived through an enjoyable chemical experience. They blended ingredients with passion and created unique perfumes that bore their names and dreams, marking their first steps into the world of the ancient Syrian industry.
The workshop was not just a school lesson; it was a journey to discover identity. Engineer Wafaa Abu Labda emphasized that choosing the "Damascene Rose" as the star of this workshop aims to connect these youngsters to their industrial roots from childhood. For her part, the school principal, Ms. Sawsan Allouni, described this activity as a "space for innovation" that takes students out of the monotony of books into the vitality of hands-on experience.
The most inspiring aspect was rewarding the outstanding "Robotics" champions with this workshop. Mr. Mahmoud Al-Madani, Director General of the TSB International Group, stressed the importance of integrating technology with applied sciences at an early age.
At the conclusion of this aromatic festival, the children left carrying certificates of pride with the titles of "Little Expert" (male and female), with smiles on their faces whispering that the future of Syria will be brilliant and flavored with creativity.
