Launch of the Second Edition of the Best Syrian Chemical Product Award 2026 in Aleppo
A meeting was held today at the headquarters of the Chamber of Industry to introduce the Best Syrian Chemical Product Award (Second Edition 2026). The award is organized by the Chamber of Industry of Damascus and its Countryside in cooperation with the Syrian Chemical Society.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Imad Taha Al-Qasim, President of the Aleppo Chamber of Industry; Engineer Ahmed Mahdi Al-Khader, Secretary of the Chamber; Dr. Mohammad Radwan Abdeen, Board Member of the Damascus and its Countryside Chamber of Industry; Mr. Mohammad Zizan, Board Member of the Aleppo Chamber of Industry; along with several industrialists operating in the chemical industries sector.
The President of the Aleppo Chamber of Industry noted that the chemical sector is vital and dynamic, characterized by a diverse range of industries, which gives this award a unique and special significance. Meanwhile, Mr. Abdeen pointed out that the award aims to foster competition, elevate the standards of national products, and highlight outstanding Syrian products.
Mr. Mahmoud Al-Mufti, Vice President of the Chemical Sector at the Damascus Chamber of Industry, provided an overview of the award's categories, which encompass seven sectors: detergents and soap, fragrances, cosmetics, adhesives, sterilizers/sanitizers, mineral oils, and raw materials. He pointed out that the core criteria for evaluating products include product quality, management quality, quality control processes, and commitment to environmental and health requirements. He added that the deadline for applications is open until October 25.
