Under the auspices of the Ministry of Local Administration and Environment, the activities of the 24th edition of the "Buildex" International Exhibition for Construction have launched. The event is organized by the Arabian Group for Exhibitions and Conferences at the Damascus Exhibition City.The opening was attended by His Excellency the Minister of Local Administration and Environment, Mohammad Anjarani; His Excellency the Minister of Tourism, Mazen Al-Salhani; the Governor of Damascus, Maher Marwan Idlibi; the Governor of Al-Hasakah, Nour El-Din Issa Ahmad; and Mr. Mohammad Hamzah, Director of the Public Establishment for International Fairs and Markets. Representing the Chamber of Industry of Damascus and its Countryside were Eng. Mohammad Ayman Al-Mawlawi, President of the Chamber, along with Mr. Moataz Tarabichi, Vice President, and Mr. Hassan Daaboul, Board Member.The exhibition, which runs until June 14th, features more than 710 participating companies and 1,400 brands from 51 countries. This includes direct participation from 20 countries across an area of 140,000 square meters—the largest ever for a specialized exhibition.
