Subject: Settlement of Non-Performing Debts and Credit Facilities with Public Banks

The Damascus Chamber of Industry and its Countryside sends you its warmest regards and wishes to inform you of the Ministry of Finance Decision No. (900/w) issued on March 30, 2026.
This decision involves the formation of a specialized committee by the Ministry, tasked with implementing the provisions of Article 18 of Legislative Decree No. 70 of 2026. The committee aims to establish the necessary executive instructions for applying the decree's provisions regarding the settlement of non-performing debts and credit facilities held with public banks.
Accordingly, the Chamber encourages all concerned industrialists to take advantage of this decision and to promptly approach the formed committee to settle their financial statuses in accordance with the specified regulations.
