From Producer to Consumer: Supporting Small Projects in Damascus
Mr. Mohammad Jannun, Chairman of the Damascus and Countryside Chamber of Agriculture, along with Dr. Majd Ayoub, the Chamber's Secretary, inaugurated the "From Producer to Consumer" initiative. Held at the Chamber's headquarters in Damascus, the opening was attended by Chamber staff and the organizing committee.
This initiative is part of the Chamber’s ongoing efforts to support local production and handicrafts, with a particular focus on women's empowerment and supporting small-scale projects. The event aims to provide citizens with high-quality food and handmade products at competitive prices by eliminating middleman markups, thereby providing direct support to both the producer and the consumer.
The initiative continues to welcome visitors, showcasing a wide range of rural and handcrafted products until next Thursday
