The Afrin Industrial Zone Committee held its meeting today at the headquarters of the Aleppo Chamber of Industry. The meeting was attended by Mr. Imad Taha Al-Qasim, President of the Aleppo Chamber of Industry, Mr. Muayyad Najjar, Director General of the Cotton Corporation and Board Member of the Chamber, Mr. Rifaat Al-Ammo, Board Member of the Chamber of Industry, alongside the chairman and members of the committee.The President of the Chamber of Industry highlighted the agricultural and industrial significance of the Afrin region. He emphasized that this importance requires the committee to exert more effort to serve and attract industrialists, and to resolve the challenges facing the production process. He also pointed out the Chamber's commitment, cooperation, and coordination with all relevant authorities to meet the needs of industrial zones, especially in the governorate's countryside, ensuring these areas become fully integrated production centers.During the meeting, attendees discussed several topics related to industrial and productive work, as well as the current and future requirements of the region to support and improve the work and production environment. The most prominent discussion focused on the necessity of establishing an industrial zone in Afrin that encompasses all industries and finalizing the administrative licensing procedures
