Mr. Omar Al-Hasri, Chairman of the General Authority of Civil Aviation and Air Transport, met with a delegation from the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Industry, headed by Dr. Mazen Derwan.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Sameh Arabi, Deputy Chairman of the Authority. During the meeting, both sides discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the civil aviation sector and the industrial sector, particularly in the fields of air cargo and facilitating the movement of Syrian exports to foreign markets. They also discussed developing logistics services at airports and improving the work environment in a way that supports national production and enhances its competitiveness.
The meeting also addressed mechanisms to overcome the obstacles facing industrialists in transportation and export operations, as well as ways to maintain continuous coordination between both sides to achieve integration that serves the national economy
