As part of ongoing joint efforts to elevate the industrial sector in the Aleppo countryside, support production processes, and provide all necessary requirements and elements, an official and economic delegation visited the Manbij region in the eastern Aleppo countryside. The delegation included Mr. Imad Taha Al-Qasim, President of the Aleppo Chamber of Industry; Engineer Youssef Al-Shibli, Deputy Governor of Aleppo; Engineer Abdul Jabbar Zaidan, Director of Industry; Ali Hantoush, Relations Officer at the Ministry of Economy and Industry; Ismail Haj Hamad, Vice President of the Chamber of Industry; Engineer Muhammad Raafat Shammaa, Board Member of the Chamber; and Ali Al-Omar, Director of the Chamber.During the visit, the delegation held two meetings. The first was with the head of the Manbij region, Hashem Al-Sheikh, along with several local officials. The second meeting was with a group of local industrialists. The discussions focused on the current status of the industrial sector in the region, avenues for its development, and the prominent challenges it faces, with the goal of improving the investment environment and driving industrial development forward. Participants emphasized the necessity of establishing and equipping an integrated, modern industrial city in the region to attract further investments and industries.The delegation also reviewed the comprehensive facilities provided to industrialists, highlighting the commitment of all concerned authorities to overcoming obstacles and simplifying administrative procedures. Additionally, it was decided to form a specialized industrial committee for the Manbij region, affiliated with the Chamber of Industry, to unite all local industrialists and serve as a direct liaison between them and all official bodies.Throughout the meetings, proposals, demands, and inquiries from the industrialists were heard and addressed.Notably, the Manbij region possesses a vital and strategic geographical location, holds a high concentration of crop cultivation, and benefits from its close proximity to the Jarabulus border crossing
