Deputy Minister of Economy and Industry Discusses Boosting Production and Developing Industrial Zones with Aleppo Chamber of Industry

Eng. Basel Abdul Hanan, Deputy Minister of Economy and Industry, chaired a meeting today with the Board of Directors of the Aleppo Chamber of Industry at the Chamber's headquarters.

Eng. Abdul Hanan emphasized the vital and specialized role of the Chamber in the economic and productive landscape, highlighting its importance in attracting industrialists, facilitating their affairs, resolving their problems, and providing them with the necessary information and incentives. This, he noted, would positively reflect on business operations and drive investment growth. He pointed out the necessity of upgrading work tools and outputs, focusing on all matters of concern to industrialists and investors, improving the status of industrial zones, and overcoming existing obstacles. He also reaffirmed the Ministry's commitment and support for any initiative that brings new value to the national industry and economy.

The President and board members of the Aleppo Chamber of Industry presented an overview of the Chamber's performance during the past period alongside its future plans. These plans primarily aim to support and encourage industry and industrialists, focusing on creative initiatives and high-priority activities designed to upgrade operational mechanisms and yield better outcomes.

The Deputy Minister and the Chamber's board discussed various ideas and visions to enhance performance. The meeting concluded with the identification of several key action points to be prioritized in the coming period as part of joint efforts to sustain national industry and production
