Daraa Chamber of Commerce Participates in the Arbitration and Judicial Mediation Symposium 2026
A delegation from the Daraa Chamber of Commerce and Industry participated in the specialized symposium organized by the Ministry of Justice, in cooperation with the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce and the Syrian Bar Association. The event was held today, October 19, 2026, at the Seville Hall.
The participating Chamber delegation included:
• Mr. Mohammad Al-Omari – Secretary of the Chamber.
• Mr. Ahmad Al-Zoubi – Board Member.
• Mr. Ahmad Kharmandi – Director of the Chamber.
The symposium addressed key legal and economic pillars, most notably:
1. The regulations governing the operations and registration of arbitration centers in Syria.
2. The significance of establishing an international arbitration center to boost investment confidence in Syria.
3. A review of the draft judicial mediation law and its practical applications.
This participation reflects the keenness of the Daraa Chamber of Commerce and Industry to keep pace with the latest legislative and legal developments that support the business environment, contribute to enhancing investment confidence, and develop commercial dispute resolution mechanisms to serve both the business sector and investors
