Daraa Chamber of Commerce and Industry Welcomes Hama Chamber of Commerce Delegation to Discuss Cooperation and Digital Transformation
Daraa Chamber of Commerce and Industry, represented by its Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Nash'at Al-Rifai, received today a delegation from the Hama Chamber of Commerce, led by its Chairman, Eng. Samir Al-Habbal. The meeting aimed to discuss aspects of joint cooperation and enhance partnership in commercial, industrial, and digital transformation fields.
During the meeting held at the headquarters of the Daraa Chamber of Commerce and Industry, discussions focused on the procedures for merchants and industrialists in Daraa Governorate to join the Syrian Commercial and Industrial Directory platform (Syria Trad), launched by the Hama Chamber of Commerce. As a unified digital platform, it highlights facilities, products, services, investment opportunities, and available offers, contributing to their promotion and opening broader marketing outlets.
Both sides emphasized the significance of this project (the platform), which falls within the chambers' vision toward fostering digital transformation and leveraging available modern capabilities to support Syrian products, enhance their competitiveness, and expand their presence in foreign markets. Additionally, both parties agreed to establish communication channels to reinforce partnership, digital transformation, and cross-sector cooperation.
The meeting was attended on behalf of the Hama Chamber of Commerce by Chairman Eng. Samir Al-Habbal, Vice Presidents Mr. Mohammad Wajih and Mr. Anas Qassoum, and Board Secretary Mr. Amjad Al-Shibli. Attending alongside Daraa Chamber Chairman Mr. Nash'at Al-Rifai were Vice President Mr. Youssef Al-Masalmeh, Board Secretary Mohammad Al-Omari, Public Relations Director Mr. Ghassan Al-Mahameed, Board Members Messrs. Bahjat Al-Jabawi, Mazeed Al-Omar, and Wessam Abazeed, as well as Chamber Director Ahmed Al-Kharmandi. Also in attendance were the Director of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in Daraa, Dr. Adel Al-Siyasneh, and the Director of Industry, Eng. Khaled Al-Atmeh.
It is worth noting that officials from the Daraa Chamber of Commerce and Industry accompanied the Hama delegation on a visit to the Great Omari Mosque in Daraa Al-Balad, recognizing its great symbolism for Syrians as the primary birthplace and spark of the Syrian Revolution on March 18, 2011
