Damascus Chamber of Industry Concludes the Global SIYB Program in Cooperation with the International Labour Organization

The Human Resources and Vocational Development Center at the Chamber of Industry of Damascus and its Countryside concluded the global training program "Start and Improve Your Business" (SIYB), implemented in cooperation with the International Labour Organization (ILO). The program aims to transform entrepreneurial ideas into organized economic entities.

During the closing ceremony, Eng. Wafaa Abu Labdeh, a member of the Chamber's Board of Directors, emphasized that the program provides participants with a professional vision, enabling them to attract investors and expand their projects both locally and internationally. For his part, Mr. Abdul Karim Hourieh, representative of the Aga Khan Foundation, announced the foundation's readiness to adopt creative and sustainable projects, particularly in the fields of water and agriculture. The training, delivered by trainers Louay Nassar and Majd Mansour, included six integrated modules covering marketing, planning, and cash flow management, and concluded with the distribution of certificates to the participants
