As part of its commitment to supporting young female industrialists and encouraging emerging industrial initiatives and projects, the Industrial Businesswomen’s Committee of the Damascus and Rural Damascus Chamber of Industry visited the "Food Syria" exhibition. This visit underscores the importance of strengthening women's presence in the industrial sector and supporting young women taking their first steps in the world of industry and production.In this context, Eng. Wafaa Abu Labdeh, Chairperson of the Industrial Businesswomen’s Committee, accompanied by several committee members, visited the pavilion of the young industrialist Layla Al-Bardan. Al-Bardan launched her industrial project in the food industry sector less than a year ago, in an experience that embodies the ambition of the new generation of female industrialists and their ability to transform ideas and initiatives into promising productive projects.During the visit, the committee emphasized the importance of standing by young female industrialists at the beginning of their ventures, providing them with support and encouragement. This contributes to developing their projects and enhancing the presence of Syrian women in the industrial sector, particularly in food industries, which represent a vital pillar of the national economy.Later, the committee, accompanied by Eng. Muhammad Ayman Al-Mawlawi, President of the Damascus and Rural Damascus Chamber of Industry, and Mr. Raif Al-Sbaie, board member of the Chamber, toured several pavilions of participating companies. They reviewed products and industrial experiences, reinforcing the importance of specialized exhibitions as a platform to promote national products and open new horizons for communication and cooperation among industrialists
