Damascus Chamber of Industry and Turkish Ambassador Discuss Enhancing Economic and Industrial Cooperation
In a move aimed at boosting economic and industrial cooperation and developing trade relations, a delegation from the Chamber of Industry of Damascus and its Countryside, led by the Chamber’s President, Eng. Mohammad Ayman Al-Mawlawi, met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Damascus, Mr. Nuh Yılmaz, at the embassy headquarters. The Syrian delegation included Mr. Abdullah Al-Zayed (Chamber Secretary), alongside Dr. Radwan Abdeen and Mr. Osama Al-Hamwi (Board Members).
Key Focus Areas of the Meeting:

Trade Exchange: Opening new horizons and commercial channels for industrialists and business owners in both countries.

Business Mobility: Requesting the facilitation of entry visa processes for Syrian industrialists to Turkey to stimulate mutual investments and direct corporate communication.

The meeting concluded with the Turkish Ambassador affirming Ankara's readiness to support and develop bilateral trade relations. Meanwhile, Eng. Al-Mawlawi highlighted the deep-rooted ties between both nations, emphasizing the Chamber’s commitment to utilizing Turkish industrial expertise to modernize and upgrade the local Syrian production environment
