The free specialized training course titled "Risk Management and Occupational Assessment in the Working Environment – Level 4" commenced in Adra Industrial City. The course is organized by the Damascus and Countryside Chamber of Industry in cooperation with the International Labour Organization (ILO) and is implemented by the chamber's Human Resources and Professional Development Center in Adra Industrial City. A number of managers, supervisors, and workers from industrial and productive sectors, along with specialists in quality, health, and occupational safety, are participating in the program.{C}
The course features specialized modules on methodologies for analyzing and assessing risks within industrial work environments, mechanisms for preparing emergency response plans, and practical applications designed to boost institutional efficiency in managing operational and strategic risks. The training runs until Thursday, May 14, 2026, offering practical exercises and professional applications aimed at developing the participants' skills in constructing risk matrices, measuring performance, and drafting risk reports according to the latest approved professional standards.
The course is delivered by Eng. Ahed Al-Ahmad, a certified occupational health and safety trainer and consultant. He holds credentials from the College of Safety and Emergency Services at the University of Delaware, USA, and the German Board for Training and Consulting, with extensive expertise in occupational safety programs complying with NEBOSH and OSHA standards.
