To Our Respected Fellow Industrialists,
The Damascus Chamber of Industry and its Rural Area extends its warmest regards. We would like to inform you of the Ministry of Finance's Decision No. 899/W, dated April 4, 2026.
Subject of the Decision:
The formation of a joint committee comprising representatives from the Ministry of Finance and the General Commission for Taxes and Fees. This committee is established in implementation of Article /5/ of Legislative Decree No. 69 of 2026.
Beneficiaries:
The committee is tasked with reviewing the granting of exemptions from taxes and fees related to the fixed assets of the following establishments:
Industrial establishments.
Commercial establishments.
Tourism establishments.
Specifically, those that have sustained total or partial damage resulting from military operations or acts of sabotage.
Required Action:
Industrialists who have documented damages and wish to benefit from this decision are requested to promptly submit a formal application to the formed committee for the review of their files and the initiation of necessary procedures.
