Conclusion of "Food Syria" Exhibition in Damascus: Field Tour by the Chamber of Industry and the Deputy Minister of Economy

On the final day of the food industries exhibition "Food Syria," held at the Damascus Fairgrounds, Eng. Mohammad Ayman Al-Mawlawi, Chairman of the Damascus and its Countryside Chamber of Industry, conducted a field tour of the pavilions of participating national companies. During the tour, he learned about their products and the latest developments offered by the Syrian industry in the food sector. He was accompanied during the tour by Eng. Wafaa Abu Labdeh, Board Member of the Chamber and Head of the Industrial Businesswomen Committee, and Mr. Raef Al-Sebai, Chamber Board Member.

 

During the tour, the delegation met with Eng. Basel Abdel Hanan, Deputy Minister of Economy and Industry, who was also conducting a tour covering most of the exhibitors and participants. They spoke with company owners and listened to their feedback regarding the current state of the food sector, the challenges facing industrialists, and the available opportunities to develop production and enhance the presence of Syrian products in both local and international markets.

 

The presence of the Damascus and its Countryside Chamber of Industry on the closing day of "Food Syria" reaffirms the importance of specialized exhibitions in promoting Syrian industry, enhancing communication between producers and markets, and opening new opportunities for cooperation, investment, and marketing—thereby supporting the growth of the industrial sector and driving the national economy forward
