Circular No. 82/2026 - Extension of the Deadline for Submitting Exemption Applications for Affected Facilities

 

 

Dear Honorable Fellow Industrialists,
Greetings,
The Damascus Chamber of Industry and its Countryside would like to inform you of the letter received from the Ministry of Finance (The General Commission for Taxes and Fees), which specifies the timeframe available to benefit from the privileges of Legislative Decree No. /19/ of 2026.
According to the decree, facilities that suffered damage due to the war during the period from March 15, 2011, until December 8, 2024, are exempted. Based on the executive instructions issued on June 7, 2026, the deadline for submitting applications has been set for 120 days only, starting from the date of the resolution's issuance.
We highly urge all fellow industrialists who meet the criteria to promptly submit their applications to benefit from this exemption within the specified legal deadline.
