Mr. Anas Dib Joud, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Latakia Chamber of Commerce and Industry, received a delegation from the Turkish Middle East Foundation (Middle East Waqf), headed by Dr. Fatih Kırşanlı, Professor of Social Sciences at Ankara University. This visit comes within the framework of a field study conducted by the delegation to explore the reality of the Syrian economy, the transformations it is undergoing, and the requirements of the current stage.The meeting addressed several themes related to the economic, commercial, and investment reality in Syria, the prospects for developing the business environment, and the role of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in stimulating the economy and creating job opportunities. Additionally, they discussed the challenges facing traders and project owners, the level of confidence in the market, and the available opportunities for new investments and projects.Mr. Anas Joud also reviewed the development of the Latakia Chamber of Commerce and Industry's work during the past period, highlighting the modernization of its work mechanisms and the services provided.
