Chairman of Damascus and Countryside Chamber of Industry Visits "Made in Syria" Festival and Pastalazara Factory in Al-Qutayfah

The Chairman of the Damascus and Countryside Chamber of Industry, Eng. Muhammad Ayman Al-Mawlawi, alongside Mr. Raeif Al-Sbeai, a board member of the chamber, visited the "Made in Syria" festival currently held in Al-Qutayfah city, which runs until Friday. The visit took place in the presence of Eng. Ammar Al-Sheikha, Mayor of Al-Qutayfah, and several local industrialists. The delegation reviewed the products displayed by more than 50 Syrian industrial companies and explored their promotional offers, ensuring that the companies provide the best possible discounts to the residents of Al-Qutayfah and the Qalamoun region in the Damascus countryside.

During his tour of the festival, Eng. Al-Mawlawi met with several women from Yabroud who work in handcrafts and traditional industries. They had made a special visit from Yabroud to Al-Qutayfah to attend the festival and shop.

Furthermore, he met at the festival with the industrialist Ahmad Hourieh, owner of the Pastalazara pasta factory in Al-Qutayfah. Mr. Hourieh invited the delegation to visit his nearby factory, where the Chamber’s Chairman and his accompanying team inspected the current workflow and production operations.

This visit comes as part of the Damascus and Countryside Chamber of Industry's commitment to supporting national products, strengthening communication with industrial and handicraft sectors, and encouraging initiatives that stimulate economic activity and boost local industries
