Aleppo Chamber of Industry Warns Industrialists Following Suspension of Certified Accountants for Gross Violations
The Aleppo Chamber of Industry issued an important notice and reminder to industrialists, referencing Ministry of Finance Decree No. 150/S, dated May 21, 2026, which identified gross violations committed by a number of certified public accountants.
Accordingly, Circular No. 6/6946 ruled to ban the violating accountants from practicing any activity and to suspend the acceptance of their reviews at financial departments in their capacity as certified accountants. This suspension remains active until a final decision regarding their status is issued by the Accounting and Auditing Council.
In this context, the Chamber calls upon all industrialists to closely and personally follow up on their financial affairs, and to ensure the completion and submission of all their tax returns within the specified deadlines, in order to avoid exposure to any violations or financial fines that may result from any negligence in this regard.
