Aleppo Chamber of Industry Discusses Food Industry Challenges and Confronts Dumping of Neighboring Products
Today, Mr. Imad Taha Al-Qasim, Chairman of the Aleppo Chamber of Industry, discussed the current state of the food and children's snacks industries and the challenges they face with a number of industrialists operating in this sector. The meeting was attended by Mr. Mahmoud Maarawi, Director of Aleppo Industry, along with several concerned officials.
During the meeting, the industrialists highlighted cases of product dumping from a neighboring country, which poses a direct threat to our national industry. Consequently, it was decided to officially address the Ministry of Economy and Industry to resolve this issue through well-studied measures that prevent dumping and support local manufacturing.
