Mr. Imad Taha Al-Qasim, Chairman of the Aleppo Chamber of Industry, and Engineer Youssef Al-Shibli, Deputy Governor of Aleppo, accompanied by Mr. Salah al-Din al-Sharif, Assistant Director of Aleppo Industry, and Mr. Rifaat Al-Amou, Board Member of the Chamber, visited the city of Afrin in the northern Aleppo countryside. During the visit, they met with Mr. Khairou al-Ali al-Dawood, the official in charge of the Afrin region.The meeting aimed at joint efforts to organize industrial facilities in the region and encourage industrialists to join the Chamber of Industry. Discussions focused on facilitating the process of obtaining necessary administrative and industrial licenses to help organize their work, improve product quality, and enhance competitiveness.The meeting reviewed the prominent industries in Afrin, including soap factories, pyrene, clothing, food industries, stone quarries, and concrete plants. Participants noted the lack of organized industrial zones equipped with necessary services. Consequently, it was agreed to form an industrial committee for the Afrin region, affiliated with the Aleppo Chamber of Industry, to serve as a liaison for developing the industrial reality and
