Academic-Industrial Partnership: Hama University Engineering Students Simulate Production Lines at Al-Fadel Oils Company
In reflection of its diligent efforts to bridge the gap between theoretical curricula and practical application, and to provide an integrated educational environment for future generations, the Hama Chamber of Industry organized an exceptional scientific initiative for fourth-year students in the Department of Design and Production Engineering at the Faculty of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. This initiative was held in fruitful cooperation and coordination with the Directorate of Industry in Hama, the presidency of Hama University, and the deanship of the faculty.
The initiative included a field visit by students to the production lines of Al-Fadel Vegetable Oils Company (Mr. Oil). Through this step, the Chamber aims to open new cognitive horizons for future engineers and enable them to directly engage with industrial technology. This rich experience provided the student bodies with an opportunity to inspect operational mechanisms, learn about the engineering of processing and packaging lines, and participate in simulating technical experiments. These activities grant them the efficiency and competence required for rapid integration into the labor market upon graduation.
The Hama Chamber of Industry places the mobilization of all capabilities and institutional links at the forefront of its priorities to educate and train students. This stems from its firm belief that the revival of national industry primarily relies on supporting passionate young talents and supplying Syrian factories with minds that keep pace with the latest technological developments. The Chamber expresses its deepest gratitude and appreciation to the management of Al-Fadel Vegetable Oils Company (Mr. Oil) for welcoming the students and for their high cooperation, which represents an exemplary model of true partnership between the business sector and the educational system.
