Engineer Basel Abdul Hanan, Deputy Minister of Economy and Industry, and Mr. Emad Taha Al-Qasim, Chairman of the Aleppo Chamber of Industry, inspected today several operating industrial facilities in the Sheikh Najjar Industrial City. They were accompanied by Mr. Youssef Fattouh, Director General of the Sheikh Najjar Industrial City, and Mr. Mouaid Najjar, Director General of the Cotton Cotton Organization. Members of the Chamber of Industry's Board of Directors also participated in the tour.The tour included several factories specializing in the manufacture of paints, adhesives, and glues, as well as facilities in the engineering industries sector. The delegation reviewed the workflow of the production process in these facilities, which operate at varying capacities and operating rates depending on market conditions.They also listened to briefings from factory owners, who explained the nature of their work, the challenges they face, and proposals to overcome them. The industrialists raised several demands, including providing appropriate protection for the national industry and facilitating paint factories' access to certain raw materials through companies affiliated with the Ministry of Energy.The Deputy Minister of Economy and Industry indicated that the necessary decisions to protect the national paint industry will be issued soon, in addition to resolving the difficulties facing industrialists, within the framework of the Ministry's keenness to encourage national industry.Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Chamber of Industry highlighted the Chamber's continuous efforts to help industrialists overcome difficulties, facilitate their work, and open new markets for them in cooperation with relevant ministries and authorities.More extensive details with audio and video about this tour will be published soon
