Damascus and Countryside Chamber of Industry Concludes Occupational Risk Management Course in Adra Industrial City
The Human and Professional Resources Development Center, affiliated with the Damascus and Countryside Chamber of Industry, concluded a specialized free training course titled "Risk Management and Professional Assessment in the Working Environment – Level 4". Held in Adra Industrial City in cooperation with the International Labour Organization (ILO), the course saw active participation from managers, supervisors, and workers across industrial and productive sectors, alongside specialists in quality, health, and occupational safety.
The final day of the course featured intensive practical applications focusing on risk analysis and assessment methodologies within industrial environments. It covered drafting emergency response plans, constructing risk matrices, and measuring performance according to the latest approved professional standards. The program also included a final exam to measure the participants' scientific and practical benefit, ensuring the enhancement of institutional performance efficiency.
The course was delivered by Engineer Ahd Al-Ahmad, a certified occupational health and safety trainer and consultant. He holds accreditations from the College of Safety and Emergency Services at the University of Delaware and the German Board for Training and Consulting, with extensive experience in occupational safety programs following international NEBOSH and OSHA standards
